Chester....have you been following his journey from 2nd Feb 2014 until now...

Chester - so his story to date...I found this lad on the 7th Feb 2014....skinny - bad skin - nervous - hungry by the side of the road - bugger, even growled at me until I showed him food!! I could not take him that afternoon when I found him - busy road - (too many dogs - fiance who said NO) no one else interested in helping.....(cue photo!)

I could not sleep as I knew he was there....so what did I do...I picked him up and took him to the vet! With the financial assistance and support of many people - Chester as I called him - BOUNCED back! Chester had un-treated leish (off the scale results) and tick fever

...since then he has been treated, given love and (some) training :) But he had to go through a journey of segregation, pain from his bleeding ears that were caked in blood and opened up when he shook his head and he was nervous...Guess how old he is??!!

He was 1 - 1.5 years old in this photo last year- breaks my heart....I have tried to find him a home since I picked him up last year. You know what, a bit of treatment, love and attention and what happens ...a dog will blossom...Leish is not a death sentence...This is the face of a beautiful dog called Chester...he has been shared all over the place...but you know what ....it seems that he is too much dog and has leish.....so...
Can I say - LOOK - at the stunning dog you overlooked....

Imagine how he could have been a part of your family - been a great protector of the household - played with dogs, cats, young and old...Chester is a gorgeous ....
Remember how this lad looked 10 months ago...and yet no one wants him...
SO
SOD you! Chester is going to stay with us if no one else will recognize his beautiful character, loving and cheeky nature..I love him. X
